After Sally Field tried to set her son up, via Twitter, with Adam Rippon during his Winter Olympic Games victory tour, she went from being an award-winning and revered actress to America’s dream mom. After a 50-plus year career in television and film, Field still manages to feel warm and approachable to fans through not only her open-hearted performances but also her honest, candid nature in interviews and on social media. It’s this candor that makes her upcoming memoir In Pieces an eagerly awaited must-read. The book covers her isolated and challenging girlhood, her early-career struggles in Hollywood, and the fascinating trajectory of her rich personal life.
